About the Role
We are seeking an experienced MEP Draftsman to prepare and manage detailed mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) drawings. The role involves close coordination with engineers and construction teams to ensure accuracy, compliance, and smooth project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed MEP drawings based on engineering specifications and design requirements.
- Collaborate with engineers, construction teams, and other stakeholders to ensure design accuracy and consistency.
- Review, update, and modify existing drawings as needed to meet project standards.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date project drawing documentation.
- Ensure proper integration of MEP systems with other building systems.
- Verify that designs meet all technical and project requirements.
- Utilize AutoCAD and related CAD software for design and drafting tasks.
- Assist with design implementation and problem-solving during project execution.
- Prepare As-Built Drawings and ensure updates reflect modifications made during construction.
🎯 Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience as an MEP Draftsman, preferably in the water treatment or construction industry.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant CAD software.
- Familiarity with engineering standards, codes, and MEP coordination practices.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple project deadlines.
