Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to design, develop, and maintain electrical systems for water treatment facilities, desalination plants, and sewage treatment processes. The ideal candidate will have experience with power distribution, motor control systems, and automation technologies specific to water and wastewater treatment applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, install, and maintain electrical systems for desalination plants, sewage treatment facilities, and water purification systems.
- Develop power distribution, control panels, and automation systems for water treatment processes.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults, and motor control issues
- Work with PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers), VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives), and other automation technologies.
- Perform load calculations, energy efficiency studies, and system optimization for treatment plants.
- Collaborate with mechanical, civil, and process engineers to integrate electrical systems into treatment facilities.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost analyses for new electrical installations and system upgrades.
- Provide technical documentation, reports, and project updates to stakeholders.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in the water treatment industry, including desalination, wastewater treatment, or sewage treatment plants.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or similar CAD software.
- Strong understanding of electrical circuits, power systems, and motor control applications.
- Knowledge of PLC programming, and industrial automation.
- Familiarity with low-voltage power systems in treatment plants.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
